Holiday Christmas Cards Is It Disengenuous For An Atheist To Send Out Christmas/holiday Cards?

Is it disengenuous for an atheist to send out Christmas/holiday cards? - holiday christmas cards

Of course, if someone is an atheist, Christmas is meaningless. It's just another day. So, what do you think of sending an atheist to a Christmas card?

Do you think it is true that they are using this time of year to do so, greeting cards, considering this time of year is nothing special about them?

Thank you!

Not just one days for Western civilization. It is an entirely different aspect of the Christmas holidays, the secular. I'm sure you're familiar with him, and I'm there!

For many people today, Christmas is not about religious beliefs, and give gratitude for the holidays. It is a time of sharing. Everyone can give at Christmas. I think it's perfectly fine to send an atheist to holiday cards. It does not matter what your religion, they have every right to send Christmas cards and promote the spread. I do not expect to see a map, which take about Jesus, Bethlehem, or Christ, more like a card that said, just happy holiday or peace, or maybe something with Santa says to.

Not at all. Send a card, the religion, just want the joy of the season - and there is much joy in the season, even for atheists. The spirit of giving and charity is not reserved for Christians to know too! Also, remember that Christ was not yet on the 25th Born December, the festival has been stolen from the pagan solstice to convert to Christianity!

There are many aspects of the season, nothing to do with religion and was essentially a secular holiday for a year. There is no reason why an atheist should not celebrate such as New Years or 4th July.

My joy of eating, family, and is independent of a murderous cult murder of thousands of pagans, and the elimination of their festival dates, the virgin birth and resurrection of his alleged fictitious celebrate ..

N its still a nice gesture and we can celebrate Christmas without the religious aspect. Soon to be celebrating the arrival of Santa Claus is usually enough to be happy for the kids or just an excuse to spend time with your family and friends. You do not need religion for that.
